There are many reasons to call Cumming painters for your office building. One of the most common reasons for a Cumming painting job is to meet regulations. Whether it’s the removal of old, hazardous, lead-based paint or the repainting of signs and parking space lines, you want your business to be a safe environment. In some cases, Cumming painters come to repaint because there has been cracking, peeling, discoloration, mold or other telltale signs of paint failure. Real estate is a big investment and exterior dilapidation is often one of the last symptoms of structural failure, so it’s best to have Cumming painters tack down loose shingles, replace rotted soffits and sand/repaint cracked walls before the damage costs hundreds of thousands!
Additionally, Cumming painting is a way to establish identity. New corporate bosses often choose to update the color scheme to reinvent their business, while other bosses want to repaint a historic office building in authentic colors to attract discerning clients. Since it is human nature to judge based on appearances, it’s essential that your business is looking its best. Repainting a building is a great cost-effective way to keep worker and visitor morale high. Real estate agents will tell you nothing increases value quicker or cheaper than a Cumming painting job.

Naturally high-traffic areas will suffer discoloration over time, requiring the work of Atlanta painters. There are many causes for paint discoloration. Sometimes it’s just a matter of dirt, smoke residue, grease or mildew. Even so, simple scrubbing can only go so far. Home owners may mistakenly assume that a fresh coat of paint is all they need to make the wall look new again; however, if there are excessive undercoats, underlying cracks, mildew damage or peeling, you will first need repair work done by your Atlanta painters. Another common mistake is the failure to properly prime the surface, which results in bubbling, premature peeling and moisture infiltration.
If you need to repair a wall inside your home or wish to fix a discolored wall, your best bet is to call professional Atlanta painters. Often people try to match the paint themselves only to find that the new painting does not match the rest of the wall and the adjacent walls. No one likes to waste time and energy or go through such a hassle for nothing. By contrast, Atlanta painters will provide added assurance that a professional job will be done. They will be able to sand, plaster over and prep your walls for a smooth, aesthetically pleasing coat of paint, even if it’s been painted over ten times already.

If you’ve seen a mold spot or two on your bathroom ceiling, Houston, you have a problem. All paints are not created equal. In fact, there are special bathroom and kitchen paint that are heartier and resistant to moisture. Often we buy a new house, assuming all the proper paints were used only to find these unsightly mildews and molds appearing. Marietta painters from Kimberly Painting are skilled in both indoor and outdoor work and will give you a free estimate on your Marietta painting job.
When the Marietta painters arrive, they’ll ensure that all furniture has been removed and drop cloths cover the toilet, sink, cabinetry, window sills, mirrors, tiles and fixtures. Next they’ll inspect the walls to patch holes and cracks with polyfiller, using a putty knife to smooth them over. To do a Marietta painting job right, the crew will then sand down the walls and ceiling to remove dirt and mildew. They’ll vacuum up the dust or use a sugar soap solution to wipe down the walls to remove excess dirt so it doesn’t stick to the paint. By using a primer and high-quality paint, the Marietta painters will reduce the possibility of premature cracking. They may also recommend a glossy oil-based paint which will wipe down easily and prevent grime from rooting itself on your walls and ceiling.

“You need the right tools for the right job,” an old employer once told me. I find this adage is especially true when chopping vegetables in the kitchen – and even truer when it comes to Marietta painting! The benefit of having professional Marietta painters come to your home is that they have access to the right tools to get the job done as quickly and efficiently as possible. Why spend hundreds at the store on paint brushes, rollers, pans, stir sticks, drop cloths, tarps, measuring tape, ladders, protective tape and paint when a team of experienced Marietta painters can bring all the supplies with them – and clean up all the supplies when they’re finished?
Some people use brushes for Marietta painting, but you can’t cover as much space. Rollers, by contrast, cover four times’ the area but can’t finesse the edges as finely. Rollers make better use of the paint as well, so brushes may require extra cans of paint. For the inexperienced, hazards like falling off the ladder or inhaling toxic fumes can be a deterrent to a do-it-yourself job, which is why many are turning to Marietta painters who are insured and well-trained to avoid common household dangers.

There’s no denying your home could use a good Atlanta house painting job. Yet many people wonder, “Should I hire an Atlanta house painting crew or just do it myself?” and “How much does Atlanta house painting cost?” There are many ways to look at pricing.
First off, no matter who does the Atlanta house painting, you’re going to need supplies – supplies that an Atlanta house painting contractor already has. This means rollers, pans, brushes, gloves, primer and paint at minimum. If you have underlying structural damage, it could mean hammers, nails, sanders, scrubbers, caulking guns, powerwashers and more. You can plan on spending $25 - $40 per gallon of paint, which makes up for roughly 15-25% of your Atlanta house painting estimate. Particularly if you’re painting the exterior, you’ll want to spend the extra money to get a higher quality paint that will last double the amount of time. Sure it may add another $200 onto your Atlanta house painting job, but at least you don’t need a re-do in four years.
The rest of the expense for Atlanta house painting is labor. Instead of rushing half-heartedly through, the Atlanta house painting professionals will take their time to do the necessary prep and priming work, then they will paint and clean up their mess afterwards, contacting you to follow up and ensure your happiness. After all, word of mouth is the best advertising for an Atlanta house painting company.

I had Kimberly Painting paint the exterior of my home, reglaze and repaint my windows, stain my deck, and install gutters. They were professional and no nonsense. The quote was competitive and the crew was hardworking and courteous. The end result of all the work was great. They took their time and did touch up work upon my request without argument. I would not hesitate to recommend Kimberly to anyone, and I would certainly use them for a future job.

Kimberly Painting did an overhaul of the outside of our house. They painted the entire outside, removed the old gutters and put new ones on, and restained our deck. They were on-time, clean, very polite, and did a good job on all areas of the project. This rather large project turned out to be easy for me and my wife because they were so easy to work with.
